The Montgomery County clients served have included mainstream and special needs schools, libraries, nature centers, hospital-associated facilities, homeowner associations and government office buildings. The reach of these redesigned landscapes extends beyond the immediate staff to the patrons, neighborhoods and communities at large.
The Master Gardeners have received recognition in letters sent to the Montgomery County Council as well as both a 2004 NE Regional Master Gardener Conference “Search for Excellence” Award (Community School of Maryland) and the National Naval Medical Center Fisher House Anchor (Moon) Award.
